沿革

2001年 2月
会社設立、4月から事業開始（会計年度）
2003年 8月
米国フロリダ州オーランドに倉庫オープン
2004年12月
オーストリアのプレキュアゴムメーカーKraiburgにケーシング供給開始
2005年5月
日本ミシュラン（株）の日本に於ける唯一の公認回収業者として輸出用ケーシングのアウトソーシング契約を結ぶ
同グループ北米ミシュラン（MNA)へケーシングタイヤ輸出開始
2005年11月
日本ミシュランとの契約に基づき、北海道、関東、中部、近畿エリアでの回収開始
2006年8月
タイヤネットショップ "アウトレットタイヤ"開始（2009年閉店）
2007年11月
日本ミシュランと国内再生工場向けのケーシング集荷を受託、全国のディーラー、エンドユーザーからの回収開始
2007年12月
アルバニア共和国大使館よりの依頼で、インフラ整備の為の中古タイヤの輸出プロジェクトを受託。2008年より3年間に亘り輸出
2008年2月
弘前、仙台、いわき、石巻を拠点にミシュラン・ケーシングの東北地域の回収を開始
2008年3月
ミシュラン・ケーシング東北6県（青森・秋田・岩手・福島・宮城・山形）及び北陸３県（福井・石川・富山）回収開始
2008年12月
富山県滑川市にミシュラン・ケーシング物流の為の自社倉庫CPC(ケーシング・プロセスセンター）開設
委託ケーシングのジャスト・イン・タイム納品を実現
2012年2月
滑川倉庫でミシュランのワークショップ開催（以後、毎年乃至は隔年で開催）
2013年8月
メーカー直営倉庫（新潟県糸魚川市）創設に伴い滑川倉庫を閉じる
2014年2月
事務所を現在の日本大通りへ移転
2014年6月
フィンランド大使館より「日本のOEタイヤ」のリサーチ・プロジェクトを受託。
2017年10月
富山県商工会連合会（入善町）の海外展開（貿易）支援事業の指導請け負う
2018年2月
横浜商工会議所より業務部員が優良産業人の表彰受ける
2021年2月

Kics’ past involvement with Group Michelin’s activities

May 2005
Appointed as Michelin casing’s official collector in Japan by exclusive contract. Launched casing collection in the areas of “Pacific Ocean Industrial Belt” and Hokkaido with six (6) “ hubs”: sub-contracted tire yards and warehouses.
Nov 2005
Started shipping Michelin Casings to Michelin North America retreading facilities
Nov 2007
Started supplying Michelin Casings to Michelin’s local retreading facilities in Japan
Mar 2008
Expanded casing collection areas into six Tohoku provinces with four (4) tire collectors who joined as Kics’ group collectors. Currently collection is in progress at ten (10) hubs spread throughout Japan.
Dec 2008
Opened Physical Distribution Center in Toyama Pref. in conjunction with Nihon Michelin to serve as CPC (Casing Process Center) to process all phases of operation which include: Casing collection, inspection, inventory control by size/pattern to achieve just-in time, small lot delivery to and from Michelin’s local retreading facilities.
May 2009
Started handling “Customer Casing” and “Casing-New retread exchange” Program.
Apr 2010
Opened “Familiarization to Casing” workshops for Michelin Sales Force of some 50 persons at CPC
Feb 2012
Work shop for training to adopt new casing criteria was conducted by Nihon　Michelin at Oota R&D Plant with Kics all 8 collectors participated
Apr 2012
Grand opening of newly built Michelin production line in Niigata

The program has been developed now into having about 500 participating dealers (out of Michelin's total some 900 dealers) and is instrumental in Group's promoting energy saving new retreads.
